Colombian star Shakira recalled her collaborations with Argentine musicians Gustavo Cerati and Bizarrap in a conversation with the host of "Por el mundo," Marley, and spoke about the working methods of the Argentine musicians and how they accompanied her at different stages of her career.

Shakira admitted that it was easy for her to find a common language with both artists in the studio. "Of course, he has very solid criteria, and that's why I called him to work with me. It was very fun to see us interacting in the recording studio," she shared about working with Cerati. She also recalled an anecdote about the Argentine artist: "I lived so many unforgettable moments with Cerati. I remember he always carried a brown notebook, he said he was a collector of words. I remember him a lot with his book, with special, extravagant words, that made up that unique, so Cerati-like language."

She also talked about her collaboration with Bizarrap, which helped her start a new musical chapter after her breakup with Gerard Piqué. "But yes, every collaboration is like a master's class, it's like taking a flash course in which you learn so much about the other, the colleague. I learned a lot from Cerati and from Biza too. Because besides, I say that Biza is my consolation because I realize that I'm not the only crazy, obsessive one who stays with a mix until the last moment, Bizarrap is the same," explained the singer.

Shakira also shared that after session 53 with Bizarrap, she felt "light." "I remember after writing session 53, I felt so light," she added. According to her, her new music is a way she turned her painful breakup into art. "It was what was meant for me in this life so that perhaps other people could see themselves in me, in my experiences, and that all of this would be a little bit the fuel," the singer said.

Currently, Shakira will perform on December 8, 9, and 11 at Vélez Stadium in Buenos Aires and on December 14 and 15 at Mario Kempes Stadium in Córdoba.

"Sometimes I think, did all this really happen to me? Does he not know that I'm going through this? I don't want to give away the music, I don't want to give it away, and the same thing happens to me. I found my other half in that sense, but I always enjoyed creating with him in the studio," Shakira added.
